Korean Dinner for 12 + Lecture on North Korea

CL Dad, former State Department official and recognized expert on North Korea Philip Yun, with wife Melissa Millsaps, are again offering an evening meal of great Korean food and compelling stories about North Korea. This year’s version of a dinner for 12 will feature some of the the fare from Sunday Bird, the newest establishment of Deuki Hong -- an Anthony Bourdain-endorsed chef who recently left New York to start again in the Fillmore. This auction item not only gives you the chance to get your fill of crunchy Korean fried chicken, tasty kimchi pancakes and other spicy (and non-spicy) Korean tapas-style delights from around the City (which also means beer and wine); but it also includes Philip's talk of personal and policy anecdotes which are guaranteed to give you the critical basics needed to understand what is happening in North Korea behind the headlines.  Date for this informal, filling, and informative dinner will be Saturday evening, April 8, at Philip's office -- Ploughshares Fund in the San Francisco Presidio.
